If you have discovered that you sexual drive is not what it used to be or you just want your sex drive to be higher than it currently is following these 6 easy suggestions would help boost your libido:
1.) Reduce Your Alcohol Intake
You might think that alcohol is a drink that stimulates sexual desire so you should take more of it… right?
Alcohol just lowers your inhibitions… a glass of beer or a shot of whiskey might warm you up; but after this amount of alcohol, its depressant abilities would start to affect your body system.
So, if you drink too much alcohol, you may witness a reduction in the strength of your erection and a loss of your ability to achieve orgasm.
2.) Quit Smoking
If you are a smoker, this is another reason to stop smoking. Asides from the other health benefits of stopping this bad habit, you would also experience a noticeable increase in your sexual drive after you quit smoking.
Smoking affects your sexual drive and performance because it narrows the blood vessels and prevents the free flow of blood. This reduced flow of blood to the penis affects your sex drive and erection strength negatively.
3.) Lose Your Excess Body Fat
If you are fat or overweight, it can reduce your sexual drive both mentally and physically. Having an excess pot belly could make you less confident and more self-conscious… this tends to lower how much sex you get from women (or your girlfriend/wife) which in turn affects your sexual drive.
And also, on a physiological level, the fatter you become, the higher your chances of arterial disease which reduces the flow of blow to important areas in the body like your genitals.
4.) Do Everything To Reduce Stress
Stress is one of the main causes of loss of sexual drive. Do your best to reduce anger, anxiety and anything that can cause you to become stressed out.
You can try relaxation exercises, yoga, massage etc… do whatever calms you down everyday so that your stress levels no longer affects your sex drive.
5.) Reduce Your Intake of Caffeine
In case you don’t know – caffeine is a compound that is found in coffee, kola-nuts, and tea. Caffeine is a stimulant and a lot of men use it to give them a boost during the day.
But, consuming too much of it can intensify existing anxiety problems that you might have. An increase in your anxiety means that your sexual drive would reduce.
6.) Ask Your Doctor For Supplements

- Mucuna Pruriens – this herb is commonly called “velvet bean” and it helps in increasing both male sexual stamina and sexual drive.
