The jelq exercise (jelqing) is one of the popular penis exercises that men use to enlarge their penis.
There are different variations of the jelqing exercise. However, when you are just starting out (for the first 2 or 3 weeks) you need to use the basic version of the jelq. You MUST ensure that you are doing this exercise properly if you want to achieve noticeable penile growth.
By doing the jelq exercise, you would be pushing more blood than your penis would usually contain when you are having an erection into your penile chambers. This causes the tissues to expand and creates a micro-tear in them.
During your rest days (when you are not exercising your penis), the penile tissues heal themselves and re-grow to larger sizes so that they can retain more blood.
By doing the jelqing exercise properly, you would be able to enlarge your flaccid and erect penis both in terms of girth (circumference) and length. You would also experience stronger “rock” hard erections and increase in your sexual stamina (no more quick ejaculations).
How To Do The Basic Jelq Exercise
Before you start doing the jelq exercise, you would have to get a partial erection (your penis should have 60% – 80% hardness) because the exercise has no effect on a flaccid penis or a full-blown erection.
You penis needs to be almost erect but should still have some flexibility so that you can do this exercise.
Here is how to do the jelq exercise:
- Apply an abundant amount of lubrication (it could be olive oil, Vaseline,
baby oil or any lubrication of your choice) to your partial erect penis.
- Squeeze your penis at the base using an OK sign (your first
finger and thumb are the ones in contact with your penis) with any of
- Your palms can either be facing up (where your thumbs and
first finger are grabbing under your penis) or facing down (where
your thumb and first finger are squeezing from the top of your penis)
– do whichever one feels comfortable to you.
- Push you hand towards the head while at the same time squeezing.
Make sure that you are squeezing firmly enough to push blood towards your
penis head (if you are uncircumcised – you have foreskin, pull it back
using your other hand – you should be grabbing your penis and pushing blood
towards the head and NOT pulling the foreskin).
- By the time you get to the penis head, release your hand and repeat
the same movement with your other hand. Don’t “jelq” your penis
head – it is too sensitive and gets easily bruised.
- Continue changing hands as you repeat the jelqing movement. Each stroke lasts 3 – 6 seconds.
Your jelq strokes must be steady, firm and slow. As you are “jelqing”, you would notice that your penis expands to its limits for each stroke that you push blood up to the head.
When you are just starting out, you can either do the jelq based on strokes (100 strokes) or based on minutes (10 minutes is enough time to do about 100 strokes).
After 10 or 15 jelqing strokes, stop to rest your hands and stroke your penis back to 60% – 80% erection.
As simple as the jelq exercise may look, it is an effective exercise. However if you are not following directions from a proper penis enlargement exercise program, you are not going to get much penis growth after a few weeks of use.
